Setting Up Teams for Clocking In/Out

In this video, our team will walk you through how you can use our Teams feature to setup teams and clock in/out using TreeAMS.

Team Roles

Manager

1. Have rights to Add/Remove Members from the Team
2. Have rights to Add/Edit/Submit Draft Attendance Record
3. Have rights to Approve/Deny Leave Application
4. Have rights to View results/report of Assignment

Approver

1. Have rights to Submit Draft Attendance Record
2. Have rights to Approve/Deny Leave Application
3. Have rights to View results/report of Assignment

Viewer

1. Have rights to View results/report of Assignment

Team Member with No Roles

1. No rights to create, update, or remove attendance entries
2. No right to View results/report of other members' assignments

Important Notes

1. You can create multiple teams under one unit. However, only one team per unit can be used for time attendance. That’s why it is highly recommended that you create one team that includes all team members at the location for clocking in and out on TreeAMS.
2. Users must clock in and clock out in the same location!
3. Clocking in and out for branches with geolocation is not available at the moment. However, you can still use our clock in/out feature without geolocation!
